The „Promise of Music” film team has returned from Venezuela. They spent two very busy weeks filming in the capital city Caracas, in Barquisimeto, in El Tigre and other parts of the country. Director Enrique Sánchez Lansch was able to use two HDTV camera teams, while a third team kept a record of the filming for a making-of documentary.

Preparations for the music documentary „The Promise of Music” have begun. This is a film about the young conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela. Deutsche Welle’s DW-TV is producing this documentary and a concert recording together with Unitel. The producer is Bernhard Fleischer. The director, Enrique Sánchez Lansch, made a name for himself when he made the film „Rhythm Is It!”, one of the most moving music films of recent years.
