Henning Brümmer

Henning Brümmer came to international recognition primarily through the Werner Herzog feature film THE WHITE DIAMOND. The New York Times describes this high-definition production as being a series of „breathtakingly beautiful images” and TIME Magazine also praises the outstanding camera work: „a symphony of strikingly clear images.”
Henning Brümmer has worked as director of photography as well as camera operator both in the field of feature films and on documentaries and has acquired experience behind the lens in productions between the two genres. Most recently, he cast light as a cameraman on opera scenes at the 2007 Salzburg Festival (BENVENUTO CELLINI) and at the Staatsoper in Berlin (MANON), while last year he shot the feature film NEMESIS with Ulrich Mühe and Susanne Lothar in the lead roles.
He has worked with renowned directors like Werner Herzog, Christoph Schlingensief, Vincent Paterson and Andres Veiel. He studied at the Hamburg Film School and has taught there as assistant to Michael Ballhaus.

Enrique Sánchez Lansch
Director
Enrique Sánchez Lansch was raised in Gijón (Northern Spain) and Cologne (Germany). During his extensive academic and artistic education in theatre and music (including a career as an opera singer as well as a master’s degree in Romance Philology writing his master’s thesis on film adaptation of literature) Enrique Sánchez Lansch works as an assistant director first for opera productions and later for film and TV while still performing on the opera stage. In the mid 90s he decides to focus exclusively on film. His work brings him further than Germany to Italy, France and Greece writing and directing films mostly on music, opera or ballet subjects.
After some years of producing and directing fiction programs for television Enrique Sánchez Lansch spends a year to develop new projects and improve his film and screenwriting skills at the Columbia University, New York, and the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Since 2002 he is Berlin based working as a director and writer of feature length films, both documentary and fiction.

The theatrical documentary Rhythm is it! was awarded with the German Critics Award, the Bavarian Film Award and twice with the German Film Award.
